It was 1996 when Priscilla Jiron and Sharen Jansen caught sight of what was technically a UFO. It was a brightly glowing spot of light zipping erratically around in the night sky above them, but when the light approached them they suddenly came to the realisation that what they were seeing as was not a nuts-and-bolts spacecraft, but was rather an ostensibly-alien aerial entity.

The Incident[]

Greenwood UFOddity

As the anomalous entity came to a halt and hovered before them, both women could clearly see that the glowing form was in the shape of a man - complete with 'a head, arms, hands, legs and feet', all seemingly composed of pure light. As the astonished witnesses watched the glowing ghoul, it placed its palms downwards as 'radiating' light beams shot forth from said palms. These beams looked as if they were the force that would propel the creature straight upwards into the sky - and this was exactly what happened. 'The entity shot into the sky and in the blink of an eye, it was gone'.

Apparitional Iron-Man?[]

The use of the beams of light to fly in a 'repulsor'-like manner reminds me of the Marvel Comics hero Iron Man, who flies in much the same way. Iron Man first appeared in the comics in 1963, and so he would've presumably existed in the cultural consciousness at the time. Could this mean that this report was a hoax inspired by the superhero? Maybe - but I don't know enough about the two witnesses and how sincere they were about their experience to make an accurate guess as to this statement's accuracy.
